What if I want to change something after my building is ordered?Changing details after ordering may depend on what type and style of details are under scrutiny. Do you offer free delivery?Miller Barns offers Free Delivery within a 30-mile radius of our Sales Centers. Our Standard Free Delivery needs: Ability to access location with fully assembled unit: We recommend an additional 4’ of width clearance and 4’ of height clearance for the smoothest delivery process. Setting on Level Ground: You have three options for blocking and leveling: Free Pressure Treated Wood Blocks: We will level the unit using pressure treated wood blocks, provided free of charge to the customer. Customer Provided Concrete Blocks: You can provide concrete blocks up to 12 inches high from the ground, and we will level the unit with them for Free. Each additional layer of blocks above 12 inches incurs a fee of $100 per layer. Driver Provided Concrete Blocks: Our driver can provide concrete blocks for leveling at a cost of $5 per block. This fee is paid directly to the driver at the time of setup. To ensure a smooth delivery, please prepare the desired location for your new Miller Barn product by clearing it of debris and any obstructions. Mowing the location is also recommended to prevent the unit from setting on tall grass. Since our sheds and outdoor living structures are delivered fully assembled, clear access to the site is essential for a hassle-free delivery experience. Additional items to consider: Raised Platforms or Piers: We do not deliver buildings on platforms or piers raised above the ground. A clear and level area is all we require for delivery. Ground Conditions: We are not responsible for determining ground conditions. If the ground is soft or wet, delivery may not be advised. We reserve the right to reschedule a delivery if the ground conditions are not adequate for a safe and non-destructive delivery. Underground Utilities: Please identify and locate any underground water or sewer lines to avoid potential damage. The customer bears all responsibility for any damage caused to the yard, driveway, or other property. Permits and HOA Requirements: It is your responsibility to know and obtain any necessary permits and meet any requirements set by your Homeowners’ Association (HOA). Your cooperation with these steps will ensure a smooth and pleasant delivery experience. Our professional drivers handle numerous deliveries every day, and we appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure a successful delivery of your new Miller Barns product. How do I prepare the ground for the shed/barn?To properly prepare the ground and the surrounding area for a mini barn or similar structure, ensure it is level and free of debris. Consider using gravel or concrete blocks for a stable foundation. Verify local building codes for specific requirements in your area if any are applicable. Do I need a cement pad?A concrete pad isn't mandatory, but it provides a durable and stable foundation for the typical mini barn or small building. Does my shed need to be anchored to the ground?Most of the portable buildings, anchoring is not required. In your particular situation, if it is prone to high wind or storms there is a measure of trust in common anchoring methods such as ground augers, auger anchors, or concrete anchors. What if my gate is too narrow to get my building through?If your fence or gate is too narrow for the finished building, discuss this concern with our sales staff, and we may offer some solutions that will be workable in your situation. Sometimes we can disassemble and reassemble part of the structure on site or we can find an alternative delivery method that may accommodate this question. Sometimes we may move fence or gate to accept the extra distance needed .
